This is the most efficient method of vertical transport, internal return drum guidance and covered gravity tension ensure maximum reliability.
Bucket elevators, also known as bucket conveyors, are used as a means of vertical continuous transport. They are characterized by economical operation, simple construction and easy operation. Moving buckets are filled with the transported material and emptied centrifugally. The buckets are attached to a belt tensioner that runs through the drums. The geometry and basic operating parameters are the result of many studies using DEM simulations.
We also offer elevators designed for use in Atex zones.
The basic elements of a bucket conveyor are: a supporting structure (a return station with a foot; a drive station), a load-bearing structure (an intermediate inspection member, a transitional intermediate member and a guiding member), a load-bearing member made of a conveyor belt, and a drive (a gear motor).
