On February 24–26, 2026, representatives of the Management Board of Biko Tech are participating in the 18th Conference “Thermal Treatment of Municipal Waste”, organized by “Nowa Energia” Publishing House at Novotel Kraków City West.

The objective of the conference is to present legal aspects and financing opportunities for investments related to the thermal treatment of municipal waste, to share the experience of companies operating on the Polish and international markets in the implementation of such projects, and to discuss the application of modern technologies in this sector.

The thematic scope includes:
• the current status of TPOK project implementation,
• development of smaller ITPOK facilities – planned projects,
• PPP model – subsequent implementations and experience,
• certification of electricity and heat generated in ITPOK installations,
• flue gas treatment systems: desulfurization, dedusting and denitrification,
• technologies for managing residues from TPOK processes,
• heat and electricity off-take, and technical operation of incineration plants – qualified personnel.
